Jacek Ryl
Prof., Associate professor, faculty member, division head Applied electrochemist, focused on biosensors, electrocatalysis, corrosion science and properties of modern electrode materials
Received a Ph.D. (2010) and habilitation (2018) in Chemical Technology at GUT. The principal area of scientific activity lies in applied electrochemistry, in particular corrosion science, electrochemical sensors, electrocatalysis and wastewater treatment. He is involved in the development of instantaneous impedance techniques with multisine perturbation, dedicated to the assessment of non-stationary processes. He is co-author of over 150 peer-reviewed papers in JCR journals (h-index = 26). He was the PI (5 times) and WP leader (3 times) of projects awarded by international and national funding agencies. The most notable awards include scientific scholarship by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Poland (2017) and the IV Division (Engineering Sciences) of the Polish Academy of Sciences award for scientific achievements (2019). Currently, he serves on the Editorial Board for 2 JCR journals, and reviewer for over 45 journals and granting agencies.
