Her scientific work focuses on carbon nanomaterials, specifically the covalent functionalization of carbon nanotubes and the oxide/reduced oxide of graphene for applications in medicine and environmental protection. Additionally, she is interested in the hydrothermal synthesis of nanomaterials. As a result of these interests, the idea emerged to simultaneously synthesize reduced graphene oxide and ammonium vanadate to obtain a composite material.
