Since 2016, Natalia Wójcik has been working at the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics, at the Institute of Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering. In 2017, she obtained a PhD in physical sciences in the discipline of physics, and in 2023, she obtained a post-doctoral degree in the discipline of materials engineering. The main directions of her research are: searching for new glassy and ceramic materials with possible use for bone implants and for a new generation of batteries. She is the co-author of several dozen scientific publications and an international US patent. She was the manager of a university project, and is currently the manager of a national project (financed by the National Science Center). She was a contractor in national and international projects financed by Swedish institutions Crafoord, Vinnova and STINT. She is the winner of several rector's awards.
